Barn frames are one-of-a-kind vintage antiques and the most interesting component of any barn's construction and character. The frame is modular and held together with wooden pegs. Our barn is 30 feet square and 27 feet tall. There’s 600 square feet of living space plus 300 square feet of storage/garage on the first floor, and 600 square feet of bedroom loft space on the second floor.

The uninterrupted expanse of the barn interior with the setback loft provides drama to the volume of the interior space. The inside of exterior walls and ceilings are clad with honey colored, sandblasted old barn boards fastened to large dimension timbers adzed into shape two centuries ago. The warm mellowed, wonderful honey-colored patinas possess a traditional beauty and provide a romance and charm that cannot be duplicated. Interior walls are hand troweled plaster and the custom wood windows & doors came from responsibly managed forests. Low voltage lighting & period lanterns, chemically stained radiant heated concrete floors and an advanced sound system make this extraordinary space fit for human habitation. The Barn is furnished with hay ladders, early American maple tables, bow back chairs, Old Hickory, folk art and country pine antiques & collectables.
